Ofelia Gongora, 92, of Clifton passed away on February 11, 2020. Born in Tumaco, Colombia, she came to the US in 1986 and lived in Passaic before settling in Clifton 10 years ago.
Beloved wife of the late Enrique Escobar Uribe. Devoted mother of Enrique Escobar and his wife Amparo of Colombia, Martha Escobar and her husband Luis Chiang of Clifton, and the late Julio and Gustavo Escobar. Loving grandmother of Alexis Gonzalez and several grandchildren. Cherished great grandmother of several great grandchildren.
Funeral services were private under the direction of Compassionate Cremation Services, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.

Querida esposa del difunto Enrique Escobar Uribe. Madre devota de Enrique Escobar y su esposa Amparo de Colombia, Martha Escobar y su esposo Luis Chiang de Clifton, y el fallecido Julio y Gustavo Escobar. Abuela amorosa de Alexis Gonzalez y varios nietos. Querida bisabuela de muchos bisnietos.
