Obituary of Timothy C. Drasher
Timothy Calvin Drasher, 64, of Tewksbury passed away unexpectedly on December 30th, 2021. Born in Branchburg, NJ, he spent time in Virginia Beach as well as Toronto, but found his way back to “the garden state” where he resided in Hoboken, Lincoln Park, the Jersey Shore & Tewksbury, since 2010.
Beloved husband of the late Deborah Drasher, he was the devoted father of Danielle Drasher Bonk and her husband Jeffrey, and Timothy Drasher Jr. and his wife Brooke and step sons Justin Finnamore & Tyler Keraitis. Adoring "Poppy" to Bradley, Brycen and Cameryn; dear brother of Tama Smith & Jackie Roelant. He also leaves behind his beloved companion Sandy Hyde, with whom he lived and owned a Real Estate business.
Tim graduated from Somerville High School, class of 1975. He received his undergraduate degree from University of South Florida in 1979. He also completed his real estate license in 2019 and was an active member of the NJ Real Estate Association.
Tim spent his entire career in sales. He began in advertising sales which took him around the world, before settling back down to his roots in NJ with real estate sales.
Tim was a die hard Jets fan who was at his happiest on Sundays tailgating with his son Tim, family and friends. He was a big believer in “living the dash”, meaning living life to the fullest, traveling, family beach vacations, playing golf and deep sea fishing. Tim was a “grill master” and loved hosting big family barbeques at the home he shared with Sandy. He enjoyed playing fetch with his energetic border collie, Bella. He was an amazing man who left a lifetime of stories and memories for his family and friends.
Tim was also predeceased by his loving parents, Calvin & Jean Drasher.
Funeral arrangements were private under the direction of Compassionate Cremation Services, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton. A celebration of life will take place in Readington, NJ on June 18th, 2022.
