Scott Radice

Obituary of Scott A. Radice

Scott A. Radice, age 64, died on Monday, 1 March 2021, after battling illness for several years and ultimately dying from paraganglioma cancer. Scott was born in Passaic, New Jersey on May 11, 1956, the son of Arthur Radice (deceased) and Claire H. Beaven (Radice) (nee Nash) (deceased). Scott is survived by his lifelong best friend, Kenneth Conte, his stepfather, Robert P. Beaven, his brothers Steven and Mark, his sister, Chrysa (Lawson), his stepbrother Bobby Beaven, and his four nieces and seven nephews. Scott also had another stepbrother, the late Brad Beaven.

Scott attended St. Philip the Apostle School, Pope Paul VI High School, Clifton High School, and William Patterson College in New Jersey. Since 2005, he has been a Senior Buyer for the ET Browne firm, where he was cherished by his colleagues and business associates. All praised his sense of humor, and described him as “the genuine article … real and honest, working out issues with fairness and sensibility.”

Scott reveled in family gatherings, sporting events, concerts, BBQs, and vacationing at the beach in the ocean and sun. He was the ultimate car enthusiast, loved all kinds of music, and had a gift for understanding and appreciating how mechanics and technology work. Scott (known as the “fun” uncle) was adored by his nieces and nephews and lavished them with his love, time, creative nature, and sometimes mischievous antics.  Scott was loved and will be greatly missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

The family will gather for a private memorial and celebration of Scott’s life at a convenient and safe time.

The family suggests that donations in Scott’s memory be made to the Pheo Paraganglioma Alliance (PPA), either by mail at:
