Obituary of Osvaldo Alvarez
Osvaldo Alvarez, 91, of Ridgefield Park passed away on January 25, 2021. Born in Havana, Cuba, Osvaldo came to the US in 1968 and lived in Washington Heights, NY before settling in Ridgefield Park 6 years ago. Osvaldo worked as a presser in the dry cleaning industry in Washington Heights for over 40 years before retiring.
Devoted father of Gladys, Adela, Jacqueline and Sergio Alvarez. Cherished grandfather of Jacqueline Hernandez, Sergio Niko, Taylor Sage, Alex and Briana Alvarez. Loving brother of Gladys Alvarez, the late Sergio, Mercedes, Raul, Adela, Rolando and Francisco Alvarez.
Funeral arrangements were private under the direction of Compassionate Cremation Services, 639 Van Houten Ave., Clifton.
